In July of 2017, the Advocacy Quilting Project participants voted to form a cooperative business. They will now to put the embroidery skills they learned towards building a sustainable income stream for their members. Inspired by the local Bardiya National Park, famous for its tigers, their first product line will attach embroidered tigers to tote bags which will be sold to park visitors.
